Join us for our Lenten Lectio Divina Prayer
Registration not required. Masks are required. We will also livestream on our Facebook page.
Lectio Divina is a Latin term that means "divine reading" or "sacred reading." It is an ancient practice of reading the Scriptures not for information about God but in order to enter into a deep and personal relationship with Him. Through lectio divina we gradually let go of our own preconceived notions and open ourselves more and more to the living God. Its goal is union with Him and the transformation of our lives.

Tuesdays in Lent beginning March 9 10am-11:30am
(If you cannot attend the class online from 10-11:30 we can send you a link to the recording just let us know on the registration form)
The Gospel of Mark was written to a community recovering from a series of crises: the persecution of Nero, the destruction of Jerusalem, and the loss of their leaders. The faith of these early Christians had been tested. How could they make sense out of Jesus’ “Good News” in such dark and challenging times?
The Gospel of Mark can speak to us now as we live through our own challenging time. Nourish your faith this Lent as Ron Ryan provides background to the Gospel and insights on how its message can help us today.
