Youth Confirmation 2025, planning starts now…
For youth entering 7th up to 12th grade in fall of 2024, it’s time to start planning for the sacrament of confirmation. There will be four chances for parent meetings throughout the summer for parents to find out the latest details about confirmation at St. Madeleine Sophie. This is for registered families at St. Madeleine Sophie.
Attend one parent meeting: options are June 5, July 10, July 31, and August 21. All are 6:30-7:30pm.
Register: receive registration packet at the parent meeting. For youth confirmation in 2025, complete Early Bird registration by June 30, 2024 to save $10. Last chance registration will be August 25, 2024.
Quick FAQ:
- 5 Confirmation meetings are on Sunday afternoons during the school year, where a parent or sponsor attends with the candidate.
- Confirmation preparation includes some attendance at “Teen Weekend” which is the monthly combined youth group on Sunday afternoons during the school year.
- This also includes an online faith content program for the off-months named “Called to Mercy” which candidates will complete as it is convenient for their schedules.
- Our confirmation mass date for 2025 is TBD but we will request Sundays in September or October 2025
